How Deep Is Your Love…

As a sensitive person I have fallen deeply in love many times in my life. I noticed that others did not seem to be affected the same way I was. I think the old expression was to “wear your heart on your sleeve.” Another saying that used to bother me was “it was better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.”

It must have been a non-sensitive person who came up with those sayings.

Sensitive people can be hurt very deeply by the insensitivity of others. Once hurt it can take years to be able to reach out again and take the chance of going through it all once more.

Learning how to protect ourselves is vital for our security. If you remain grounded and secure when you put yourself forward in the world, nothing can negatively affect you.

As a sensitive person you have much to offer in the way of guidance to the world. Stay centered in your love for all things and you will always be growing.
