Life presents us with numerous opportunities to learn. There are many signs along the way to guide us in the direction we are meant to follow. These signs are helping us realize who we really are and what we are meant to do.
Often these signs that guide us are not pleasant experiences at all. It seems we humans learn from adversity better than from positive experiences. When these troubled times come along it can make us feel that we have lost our sense of self. This is a good sign that we are getting closer to the truth of who we are really meant to be.
The self we are losing during these times is our false self known as the ego. The ego’s main function is to keep us safe. There certainly is some value in that yet if the walls of the protection are too tight, we cannot expand to the magnitude of our brilliance.
The ego will always be there to protect us even when we have grown to express our divine light. The ego will simply accept that this is the way we are, not the limited self we used to believe we were.
I know that I am meant to live my life according to my divine plan. I know that each of us on this earth is meant to do the same. Each of us has a unique purpose that we are here to express.
Be open to the signs and accept their counsel. Learning to understand them will soften the lesson and help you to grow.
