Quite often people throw themselves into personal growth without first practicing self healing. This is very much like building a house without first putting down a firm foundation to build upon.

Self healing means to become aware of all the intricacies of your personal self, physically, mentally, and spiritually and balance those aspects of yourself before you go on with personal growth.

If you reverse the order and practice personal growth before you do self healing then you will be a ship without a rudder, spending lots of money and going nowhere. Can a plant grow without putting down roots first? The bamboo plant spends 3 years spreading its roots before it begins to grow.

So what are the ways to practice self healing? It can be as complicated or as simple as you wish to make it. You do have to consider the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of your being which may seem daunting at first. The good thing is you have a wisdom deep within you that knows how to heal you.

Meditation is the key to accessing that inner wisdom that will lead you to self healing and finally your personal growth.

Do you remember your dreams? Do you live your life by the wisdom of your subconscious mind?

Many years ago I developed a practice of writing down my dreams every morning. At first they made no sense at all to me. It was if I did not understand the language. After a period of time I started to recognize the patterns. Once I listened to what my subconscious had to say, my life improved dramatically.

Since that time I consistently have precognitive and lucid dreams. Precognitive dreams show me what is going to happen before they do. Lucid dreams are events happening around me and I interact with them as I lay in bed. It is like an expanded state of awareness.

Even if you do not remember your dreams right now just follow the example below.

Place a journal and pen on the night stand beside your bed. Every morning when you wake up start writing. Do not judge or edit what you are writing down. Before your conscious mind becomes fully engaged express what your subconscious has to say. In time with practice you will remember more and more. I got to the point of remembering up to three complete separate dreams.

Your subconscious knows you better than you know yourself. Listen to it.
