You only have to SEE how the Dalai Lama endures, suffers patiently (sorry about the apparent tautology, but serves to emphasise). The DL is my favourite political figure, because of course he loathes the very idea, but the Soviet Murdochy of Big Brother keeps trying to drag him into politics. Politics is simply the Culture of Greed, of Samara worshipped, of Service to Mammnon, and the Buddhists understand this. Personally I have been inspired by the DL and Sogyal Rinpoche, and despite my circumstances (family torn apart as at War, and my youngest son about to be rendered homeless too) I rejoice!
